"Jelena" are mourning the end of their favorite musical pair, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. All thanks to Barbara Palvin and a whole other list of reasons, Justin and Selena have finally called it quits as of last week.

While some are simply claiming it's simply a phase, some are saying it's for good. So while everyone else is either rejoicing or crying over the split, here's a look at the couple's sweetest moments through the years.

Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber was quite popular as the YouTube sensation before being discovered by Usher. Thanks to the fame, Justin had been propelled into the Hollywood business attracting a lot of female attention. However, there was only one female that managed to snag Bieber's heart.

On February 27, 2011, after much rumors about their relationship, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez finally came out in public as a couple during the Vanity Fair party. On this day, the "Jelena" duo was formed. At first, "Beliebers" waged war against the Disney star, Gomez, claiming she was simply using Bieber as a source for fame for her own use in the business.

That however did not cause a rift between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. If anything, the "Jelena" duo even managed to stay strong in spite of the rumors. One of the couple's sweetest dates would be their "Titanic" movie date at the Staples Center where Justin had to rent the entire building for some alone time with Gomez.

"If I'll share anything with you, it's that he really is a hopeless romantic," shared Selena in an interview with Elle Magazine

Of course, who could forget the couple's extreme PDA during dates, birthday s and movie sets?

"[Justin and Selena] couldn't keep their hands off each other as they walked around base camp near the set," says a source to Gossip Center on the set of "Feed the Dogs."

Selena Gomez despite having a busy film career had flown miles to be with Justin on his special day. Justin on the other hand had made sure he had spoiled Gomez on her 20^th birthday.

"Justin made sure everyone at Il Cielo treated Selena like a princess last night," explained the source, adding, "He was really adorable about it. You could tell that her birthday dinner party meant a lot to him."

In spite of the rampant break-up rumors, the couple had left for Tokyo together even sharing a cute photograph of themselves together on Facebook. Still, with the multiple dates, PDA-filled photos and years of being together, the couple have decided to split ways.

Selena Gomez better run to BFF Taylor Swift and get that pen and paper ready for one of the most heart-wrenching songs ever. As for Justin, the 18-year old is allegedly happy with his rumored girlfriend, Barbara Palvin of Victoria's Secret.
