Taylor Swift was the biggest winner in the recent MTV EMA 2012. Not only did she take home musical awards but she also won the award for "Best Look" that night.

There is no doubt that Taylor has better luck with music than in love. The country singer who just came from a breakup with Connor Kennedy looked far from heartbroken. She has just been in UK to promote her latest album so it's no surprise that Europe is so fond of the singer.

The 22-year-old singer was the biggest winner at the MTV EMA that happened on Sunday night at Frankfurt, Germany. And while she picked up three awards, her former foe, Kanye West, sat still on his seat.

The "We Are Never Getting Back Together" singer won Best Female Act, Best Live Act and Best Look that night. Not only did Taylor sweep off the awards, she also did an energetic circus-inspired performance.

Taylor's close friend, Justin Bieber, won the Best Male Act, Best Pop Act and Best World Stage. However, the "Baby" singer wasn't able to attend the ceremony since he has a scheduled concert in Brooklyn on Monday.

Apart from Taylor, Carly Rae Jepsen was also a big winner that evening. She won awards Best Song and Best Push from the award giving body.  Fast-rising boyband, One Direction, won Best New Act and Biggest Fans.
