Prince William and Kate Middleton's Favorite TV Shows [SLIDESHOWS]
The Duke and Duchess are couch potatoes too. Find out which TV shows they like watching.
When not busy meeting heads of state and organizations, and dressing up as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoy quiet nights at home watching their favorite TV shows.
So which shows do they like to cuddle up to?
According to reports, Wills and Kate are big fans of talent shows, especially The Voice. When the Duchess met Jessie J, one of the show's judges, the singer told about how Kate expressed her fondness and amusement towards the show.
"She was just saying how amazing The Voice was and how much they liked it and how she had gone to school with Bo (one of the contestants)." said the 'Pricetag' singer to Elle Magazine.
Another one of the royal couple's favorite shows is X Factor, another talent search that has gained a worldwide following, with many versions in different countries. The couple told one contestant, Marcus Collins, that they are fans of the show during Gary Barlow's charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011.
"They asked if I was nervous about the weekend and I said I couldn't wait. Kate said she was amazed at how much stronger my vocals were live than on television. I just can't believe it." ecstatically claims Miller in a report.
Aside from talent shows, the Duke and Duchess also like old-fashioned modern suspense, and Downton Abbey provides the right amount of thrill for them. When the pair met one of the show's stars, Jessica Brown Findlay, during their trip to Los Angeles, they made sure to say to Lady Sybil Crawley how big fans they are of the show.
"I got to be presented to William and Kate, who was beautiful and lovely and very kind! I was flattered and privileged to be presented to the two of them at the BAFTA event in Los Angeles. They picked me out and spoke very highly of Downton Abbey, and it was lovely to hear." said Findlay to OK! Magazine in a report.
"They told me that they were huge fans of the show." added the actress.
