Lady Gaga Collaborates with Tony Bennett for an Upcoming Jazz Album [PHOTOS AND VIDEO]
For his next music project, legendary singer Tony Bennett has decided to collaborate once more with pop superstar Lady Gaga on a jazz album.
In 2011, Lady Gaga had the privilege of working with Tony Bennett when they recorded the song "The Lady is a Tramp" for his album called "Duets II."
As of this time, Mr. Bennett keeps mum about the album's final song list.
According to Billboard.com, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will work with arranger/orchestrator Marion Evans for the next music album.
"It's going to really reaffirm that she's one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard," Mr. Bennett said describing Lady Gaga's vocal ability.
The 86-year-old singer revealed that he received a phone call from Lady Gaga's father, Joseph Germanotta, when she was busy with her tour in Australia.
"He said she told him that 'I want to do a jazz album with Tony Bennett, a jazz album.' So that will be the next album after 'Viva Duets'," Bennett shared in Billboard.com.
The planned jazz album collaboration with Lady Gaga will definitely let Tony Bennett get absorbed into a music genre that he adores the most.
"I'm an entertainer but I have a great affection for the great jazz artists that commit their life to just playing what they feel and being honest with what they're doing. It's a spectacular music that the world loves," Bennett further explained.
Currently, Tony Bennett is tied up to a hectic schedule of promoting his album "Viva Duets" where he recorded songs with famous Latin singers such as Gloria Estefan, Ricardo Arjona, Marc Anthony and Christina Aguilera.
