Jessica Biel has revealed she is changing her name to Jessica Timberlake, after tying the knot with Justin Timberlake in Italy last week. The couple had dated for five years.

“Yes, I’m changing my name,” Biel, 30, told People magazine. “My professional name will still be the same, but for life, yes, I think it sounds great. I think I really won the jackpot of names.”

Jessica Biel/Jessica Timberlake was recently seen for the first time since the ceremony on Oct. 19, with her beautiful wedding ring on display.

They both released a statement following the wedding, telling People, “'It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful, and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.” Timberlake went on to describe the day as “magical,” while Biel said, “It was a fantasy.”

According to RadarOnline, the wedding cost the couple $6.5 million. 

Biel and Timberlake began dating in 2007, after Timberlake asked Biel out over the phone. He told the U.K.’s Hello! magazine: “The way I see it, if you’re asking a girl out on a date, it’s only right to do it in a way that she can hear your voice. I had to be pretty persistent in order to get her to say yes. But I have a fair amount of tenacity, and if I want something, I stick to it. And in the end she agreed.”

This is the first marriage for both stars.
