The time has come for the gaming industry to recognise some of the top video games of the year with the Golden Joystick Awards.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the gala event has become famous around the world and is one of the few awards ceremonies to base its accolades on public votes.
The event is also one of few opportunities outside trade shows such as E3 and GamesCom for the industry to get together under one roof to celebrate the year's greatest gaming achievements.
Some of the categories include Best Action, Best Fighting, Best RPG and of course, Ultimate Game of the Year.
