Morgan Freeman is the cat with nine lives when it comes to celebrity death hoaxes.
While many fall victim to the death rumors once, or maybe twice, Freeman consistently keeps getting killed off in some form, whether it’s from falling off a cliff or some other fantastical rumor. The 75-year-old actor finally had enough of it on Tuesday, when he released a snarky Facebook post about the afterlife.

Morgan Freeman is the victim of another celebrity death hoax, prompting the actor to respond on Facebook to prove he is not dead.
“Like Mark Twain, I keep reading that I have died,” he wrote. “I hope those stories are not true. ... But if they are, I'm happy to report that my afterlife seems identical to my life when I was alive.”
He continued: “I did go to Las Vegas to begin work on the film ‘Last Vegas.’ That is anything but a death sentence.”
Freeman also tweeted a photo of himself with a partly cloudy sky and palm trees in the background as proof.
Back in September, a Facebook page was created claiming Freeman had died in a skiing accident in Switzerland, sparking a fan frenzy on Twitter. A similar page of the same name, “R.I.P. Morgan Freeman,” was also created in August.

The rumor also stated that rapper 50 Cent and actor Eddie Murphy had died, as well, which of course proved to be false. As usual, the stories originated to the bogus news site, Global Associated Press.
