After rumors circulated that everyone’s favorite “Bachelorette” Emily Maynard has split from Jef Holm, their breakup was made Facebook official.
As noted by The Hollywood Gossip, the latest activity in splitville for Maynard and Holm directly reflect some of their past behavior. The gossip site outlined the duo’s social media activity, noting, they have not communicated and both have changed their profile pictures, which were previously with each other. More cryptic of an example includes Holm’s recent tweet: "#God has a way to heal your sorrow. God has a way to touch your tomorrow. Trust him." Similarly, Maynard posted a photo with the quote, "She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future” and tweeted “keep on the bright side.”

Wetpaint also reported that Maynard was shopping for “self-help” books on Monday “while Jef was spotted canoodling with a blonde Emily lookalike in Los Angeles.”
Neither Maynard nor Holm has released official statements about their alleged breakup.
Holm proposed to Maynard in May on “The Bachelorette” but their relationship was plagued with rumors of cheating and money issues. Last week, a source told Wetpaint that the couple had broken off their engagement for good.
“It just happened,” the source told Wetpaint. “They’re not together anymore. They’re probably going to announce it soon, they just need to figure out how to do it. They were both too unhappy to go on.”
Rumors started with Maynard, who was allegedly cheating with Oakland Raiders back-up quarterback Matt Leinart while Holm canoodled with his ex-girlfriend. The ex, Kaylee Shepherd, even told US Weekly that Holm received a payoff totaling half of Maynards $150,000 salary to pretend he was in a relationship.
“Jef said their relationship isn’t what it seems,” she told US Weekly. “It’s all basically for TV. He said, ‘If I was happily engaged I never would have texted you.’”
Shepherd told US Weekly that once Holm found a text message sent by Maynard to a “pro footballer player,” the two weighed their options.
“Emily told him, ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he said, ‘Well, we have two options,” Shepherd explained. “’The first is I can go to the media and tell them the truth and let everyone know what you’re really like. Or two, I will deny the whole thing, and you give me half the money you made from The Bachelorette.’ She picked option two.”
