Six games into the 2012 NFL Season, there is as much parody as the league has seen in a long time. Just nine out of 30 teams have a record above .500, including two in the AFC.
The Week 7 schedule opens up with a matchup between two of the few teams that have more wins than losses. The 49ers will host the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. San Francisco is favored by seven points, despite getting blown out on Sunday, at the hands of the Giants.
Reuters Alex Smith and the 49ers are the biggest favorites in Week 7.
Most of the week’s contests are expected to be very competitive. The 49ers-Seahawks seven-point spread the largest of any game.
New York will see rookie sensation Robert Griffin III for the first time. The Redskins are 6.5-point underdogs, as they head to MetLife Stadium.
The Ravens and Texans are set to play in a game that could determine home-field advantage in the AFC. They are the only two teams in the conference with winning records. With Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb going down for the season, Baltimore is a 6.5-underdog.
The Cowboys visit the Panthers in the game with the smallest point spread of Week 7. Last place Dallas is a two point favorite on the road.
The Bears and Lions will close out the week on Monday Night Football. At 4-1, Chicago is a five-point favorite.
