Over the past few months, the reality TV show “Honey Boo Boo” has inexplicably begun sweeping the nation. Now esteemed actors Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell and Colin Farrell are getting in on the action.

In a promotional appearance for their latest film “Seven Psychopaths,” Sam Rockwell, Colin Farrell, and Christopher Walken all appeared on a Screen Junkies set to read lines from the TLC hit “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

“Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” follows the lives of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her bizarre Southern family. The show centers around the family eating cheese poofs, farting and adopting pigs. So it’s an obvious choice for Christopher Walken.

In the first scene, Sam Rockwell takes on the role of Honey Boo Boo while Christopher Walken reads the lines of her mother. In the bizarre exchange, Rockwell/Boo Boo prepares a dish of “butter, sketti [spaghetti] and ketchup” to serve to the family.

It’s certainly bizarre to hear a respected actor like Rockwell take on lines from the bizarre Southern family. However, he certainly does his best, even when given lines like, “They said it was disgustin’. I was just plain’. They said it was the bomb, ‘cuz I made it. That’s why it’s the bomb.”

Later on, Farrell takes on the role of Honey Boo Boo’s sister, affectionately nicknamed “Chubbs,” as he and Walken discuss the character’s plan to lose weight. In a tradition typical of the Thompson family, Chubbs plans to lose the weight solely by farting uncommonly often.

“If you fart 12 or 15 time a day, you can lose a lot of weight,” Farrell says in his most garishly affected Southern accent.

Later in the video, Walken delivers the phrase “vajiggle jaggle.” And it is amazing.

The whole video is a pitch-perfect sendup of the grotesque reality show, and the sight of the three respected actors delivering these lines is priceless.
