Vijay's much-awaited movie "Thuppakki" was released on Wednesday in a press meet in Chennai followed by an audio launch.

The first ever teaser of "Thuppakki" went viral as it racked up about over 1,81,315 views in less than nine hours of its unveiling. The views were close to fours lakhs in just 24 hours.

For those who have been waiting to know anything about Vijay's upcoming high-voltage action film, "Thuppakki" would come as a disappointment. The teaser has seriously piqued the interest of fans, given that it does not show much of the actor and his punch lines.

On another note, the teaser has ratcheted up the expectations among fans.

The teaser shows hero Vijay playing Rubik's cube, performing daredevil stunts, fighting the bad guys and uttering the line: "I'm waiting". But the plot still remains to be a suspense.

Earlier, a legal row over the film's title had halted the release of its audio and teaser. The case was eventually withdrawn, bringing reflief to the film's makers. 

One of the leading south Indian music composers, Harris Jayraj, scored the entire soundtrack for "Thuppakki". Here follows the list of soundtracks:
