Demi Lovato recently did an interview on the Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and dished out details of information about her co-judge Simon Cowell.

First, Jimmy Kimmel asked how she feels about sitting beside Cowell now instead of Britney. But she told the late night show host that they were just playing "musical chairs."

"We were just playing musical chairs. They hated me being over to shout at Simon so they were like, we'll just put you next to him," she revealed on the show.

But while the young singer avoided talking about Britney, she was so open in talking about her relationship with Simon, who's also supposedly her boss.

"I get the privilege of being paid to mess with my boss all day," she jokingly said.

Demi also said that Simon had met her twice on American Idol but didn't remember her until she got hired for the job on X-Factor.

When Kimmel asked Demi if the 53-year-old TV mogul had asked her out on a date, she was quick to answer with a definitive no. And when Kimmel asked why she wouldn't, Demi cheekily reasoned that Simon "parts his hair down the middle."

"I wouldn't date Simon even if he were 25-year-old!" she exclaimed.

Demi and Simon appeared together on Conan O'Brien's show last month. The two playfully teased each other with Demi calling Simon an "a**hole" but then Cowell didn't seem to mind. During the interview, it looked like Simon didn't have much power to control Demi's jokes on him and even asked Conan for help to make her stop.

The X-Factor boss then turned to Demi and called her annoying. But during his previous interviews, Simon did admit that there was something "likeable" about the former "Camp Rock" star.
