The Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart breakup and reconciliation drama seems to have paid off. It’s a good thing Pattinson and Stewart were still able to cooperate in promoting the movie, the second part of “Breaking Dawn” from the “Twilight” series.

They definitely did their duty getting their “Twi-hard” fans excited for the latest and last flick.

The premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2” will be Nov. 16 and the fan frenzy is building.

Perez Hilton reported that “Twi-hards” bought so many first-day pre-sale tickets for the final chapter of the saga that it surpassed the first day sales of “Part 1.” By how much? Perez Hilton wrote that there was an 87 percent increase in the ticket sales.

Pre-sale tickets for “Breaking Dawn - Part 1” made about $627,000 around this time last year, but Part 2's have already reached nearly $1.17 million, according to reports.

“Twi-hards” seem excited to see the Cullen family with their young daughter for the first time. It could be that, or the fact that they were devastated when they heard that Stewart and Pattinson had split in real life and are that desperate to see them together again.

Perez Hilton noted that 25 percent of the new “Twilight” tickets sold are for “The Twilight Saga” marathon purchase. Those who participate in the marathon will be watching the first four movies in a row before the release of the last movie.

That’s a lot of people willing to sit through five movies in a row.
