American Idol judges get back to work a day after a much publicized rant that was leaked to the media. Was a truce agreed upon?

Idol judge Nicki Minaj continued to (unfairly) coddle Lazaro Arbos against producer mentor Jimmy Iovine, suggesting that Iovine was responsible for the young man’s lackluster if not horrible performance of a Beatles classic, “In My Life.”
Nicki Minaj went on a loaded rant against Mariah Carey after an Idol audition. Seated between them is Keith Urban, who kept his calm. Randy Jackson was on the other end, next to Carey, but neither nor Urban could stop Minaj. Watch the video here.
Idol host Ryan Seacrest described the situation to be "very heated" and "intense." Perez Hilton quoted Seacrest as saying:
"Yesterday, we did about a full day of auditions, and toward the end of the day that there was a very heated, intense argument between a couple of the judges after a contestant performed. Both of these judges have come with a different perspectives."

American Idol is believed to have gained much publicity for its 12th season after an ongoing bickering between its two judges exploded to a swearing spree on Tuesday. Some of those who have seen the video thought the entire thing was planned all along.
Fox declined to comment on the issue, but Washington Post acknowledged that "many assumed [the heated disagreement] was a brilliantly orchestrated publicity stunt."
Eonline.com reported the four judges are back at work, with Minaj showing up in a "good mood." Her fans could only hope for the positive vibes to last all day.
