Australian actress Nicole Kidman rarely opened up about what went on with her marriage to the "Mission Impossible" actor Tom Cruise. However, the intensely private Nicole Kidman has somehow opened up in an interview with WHO magazine about the depression that she experienced after her failed marriage to the famous Hollywood actor. Despite the dark periods in her life that includes miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy, Nicole said that she has no regrets marrying Tom Cruise.

"I got married really fast and really young," Kidman told WHO magazine. "But I don't regret that because it got me Bella and Connor and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period. Then when it didn't work out I had to really dig deep and find my way through depression. I have no regrets about all of it. It was all part of growing up," the 45-year-old actress shared.

The "Moulin Rouge" star is now a doting mother to daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with husband Keith Urban. According to the actress, the announcement that she was pregnant back in 2008 was one of the greatest surprises in her life.

"I had so much time thinking that wasn't going to happen in my life and trying to understand that. When it did happen and for it to be a surprise, that was great. I had tried and failed and failed and failed. Not to be too detailed, but I've had an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages and I've had fertility treatments. I've done all the stuff you can possibly do to try get pregnant," Kidman revealed.

"Every woman who has been through all those ups and downs knows the depression that comes with it. So the way it just happened with Sunday was like, 'What?' The percentages were so low. It is the miracle in my life," Kidman further shared.

On the other hand, Nicole Kidman also said that her other miracle in life was meeting Australian country singer Keith Urban. "We really, really love each other. We really like each other and respect each other, too. I never, ever take him or our love for granted and I always keep in my mind that my dream is to grow very old with him," Kidman shared.
