Sahara Davenport, one of the most popular stars on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” reportedly died at age 28.

“It’s true and I have no words. Have to sign off for now kids, can’t handle this. XOXO,” Visage wrote early Tuesday morning.

However, according to The Guardian Express, the report of Davenport’s death is “erroneous” and a hoax due to the lack of evidence. The newspaper also claims that Visage’s Twitter account was hacked rendering the death confirmation false. Visage has not yet commented, though did tweet, “PRAYING ITS A RUMOR,” a few hours before the confirmation tweet.

Other former contestants of "RuPaul's Drag Race" also took to Twitter to share their condolences.

“A beautiful angel has been added to Heaven. Rest in peace my sweet friend,” tweeted Jujubee. “We will miss you, Sahara Davenport.”

“I am deeply saddened and at a lost for words. @SaharaDavenport – I Love you sis.” season one winner Bebe Zehara tweeted.

Luzon, who was a long time partner of Davenport's, wrote on Facebook, “I love him so much.”

Davenport grew up in Dallas, Tex. where he attended Southern Methodist University for a BFA in dance. His career highlights included an appearance on “One Life to Live,” a cameo in David Guetta and Chris Willis’ video “Getting’ Over” and two hit singles, “Pump With Me” in 2010 and “Go Off” in 2011.
