In preparation for her upcoming album "Red" which will debut on October 22, Taylor graces the cover of Glamour magazine and talks about several issues that still links her to John Mayer and the infamous song, "Dear John."
John once told Rolling Stone magazine that he was really "humiliated" when he heard the track. But now, Taylor denies that it was intended for the singer and even called John Mayer "presumptuous."
"How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about," she said.
Taylor also added that she didn't want to know about Mayer's response because she knows it's not good. Knowing what she can or can't handle, she decided to put off Mayer's comments in the corner.

"I know it wasn't good, so I don't want to know," Taylor said. "I put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can't handle."
"I've never developed that thick a skin. So I just kind of live a life, and I let all the gossip live somewhere else. If you go too far down the rabbit hole of what people think about you, it can change everything about who you are," Swift added.
Taylor was also mum about the details of her relationship with new boyfriend, Connor Kennedy. She said that she doesn't talk about her personal life but she writes about them in songs.
"I don't talk about my personal life in great detail. I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through," Swift said.
Yesterday, the country singer released a teaser for her upcoming track "Red" in "Good Morning America." She also revealed that she is shooting a music video in Paris, France.
