64th Primetime Emmy Awards: Best Moments, Quotes and Looks [PHOTOS]
This year's Primetime Emmy Award winners have been mostly expected. By the time the final award was given, surprise was almost gone (Cheers to the "Modern Family" cast and production team!).
But there are more exciting awards that the Emmy's may recognize in the future. For now, the audience willingly decides on these categories. Here are the nominees!
Outstanding Quotes in an Emmy Award Receiving Speech
"My job really amounts to me falling down and making faces while wearing lipstick and nipple covers." - Julie Bowen, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (twice in a row)
"This is particularly satisfying since Betty White always kicks my ass in our mixed martial arts class." -Tom Bergeron, Outstanding Reality Competition Host
"Don't panic, people. Something has clearly gone terribly wrong. I'm stunned," - Jon Cryer, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series
Outstanding Couples in an Emmy Awards Ceremony
Breaking Bad actor [and Emmy winner] Aaron Paul and fiance Lauren Parsekian
Broke Girl actress Kat Dennings and boyfriend Nick Zano
Mad Men star Christina Hendricks and 500 Days Of Summer star Geoffrey Arend
Outstanding Looks in an Emmy Awards Red Carpet
Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery in Louis Vuitton
Mad Men star Jessica Pare in Jason Wu
Once upon a Time actress Ginnifer Goodwin in Monique Lhuillier
And the winners are:
Jon Cryer wins the best speech for taking the audience surprise in stride.
Aaron Paul and fiance Lauren Parsekian win the most romantic couple of the evening. Romance just gets lovelier on a soon-to-be-married couple when one of them just won an Emmy.
Ginnifer Goodwin wins the best gown. How can you take your eyes off that dress? It shies away from sophisticated elegance but there is something regal about its looks. It is orange (they say it is a color of violence) but it is rather soothing in the eyes. Great job parading the gown, Snow White!
