Kate Middleton's Asian Tour Fashion Run-Down: Best Looks, Designers, Style [PHOTOS]
During the royal couple's recent visit in Southeast Asia, Kate Middleton stunned fashion critics in many looks that showcased her impeccable taste and sensibility when it comes to her clothes.
The fashionable Duchess, Kate Middleton, was the subject of a massive photo scandal while trying to enjoy her Southeast Asian tour with husband, William. Instead of crumbling down in stress and humiliation, Kate showed the true grace of a princess by staying beautiful, respectable, and fashionable. From fabrics to prints and silhouettes, the Duchess of Cambridge did not fail to keep her practical elegance shine in these clothes.
Keeping the staples: Jenny Packham, LK Bennet Pumps
On the tour's first designated stop, Kate wowed Singaporean fans in a kimono suit-dress made by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham. She attended an orchid naming celebration in honor of the royal couple wearing the satin embroidered number. Packham is responsible for many Kate Middleton red carpet looks, including the teal lace-trimmed gown she wore last May.
The Duchess showed up later in that tour wearing a chiffon skirt and top by Raoul, which she paired with her signature LK Bennet beige pumps. The busy print of the pattern is neither too busy nor complex, just the right look for a princess. It has been almost a year and the Duchess is still sporting those shoes. Either Kate is a slow walker or she has five extra pairs of the same shoes at home.
Bold prints, bolder colors
The Duchess stepped out in one of her most daring looks in Singapore as well. When Kate Middleton appeared in a purple and white color-way Prabal Gurung satin dress, fashion critics were impressed and locals were delighted. The floral print on the front and back of the dress fitted the warm weather and lovely vibe of the gathering the couple took part in. Kate completed the look with a black clutch by Anya Hindmarch.
