Jim Furyk (R) fired off seven straight 3s in the second round of the PGA Tour Championship Friday, and now holds a one stroke lead.

Preview: Jim Furyk recorded seven consecutive 3s to start his second round, and ended the day with 10 total, en route to a 6-under 64 Friday afternoon to take the weekend lead at East Lake.

Furyk now holds a one stroke lead over second place Justin Rose, and the two will be paired together Saturday.

Tiger Woods suffered a severe setback after sharing the lead heading into Friday’s play, and is paired with Luke Donald Saturday at 12:50pm. Woods is now in a tie for 12th after shooting a 73 that included five bogeys and a double bogey.

The favorite to capture the FedEx Cup and the $10 million bonus is still Rory McIlroy, who is currently tied for seventh after a 2-under 68 in the second round.
