Although this presidential election has already seen an unprecedented number of GOP debates, on Oct. 6, two political pundits on extreme ends of the political spectrum will face off for yet another debate.

Fox host Bill O'Reilly will face off against political satirist Jon Stewart, for a livestream debate on Oct. 6 at George Washington University.
In a 90-minute long event that will be broadcast on the Internet, Bill O'Reilly announced on Monday night that he will be holding a debate with "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart at George Washington University next month, to discuss issues ranging from gas prices and the national debt, to international relations with Muslim countries.
"Do most American voters really understand what's at stake in the presidential election?" asked O'Reilly during the "Talking Points Memo" section of his Fox show, "The O'Reilly Factor." "The answer is 'No!' Many do not understand what's at stake."
"In fact, I feel so strongly about this that I'm teaming up with my pal Jon Stewart to do a 90-minute debate on those and other vital issues," announced O'Reilly.

"I'm excited to debate Mr. O'Reilly. I believe this will be a very enjoyable night for fans of our programs, political junkies, partisans and people who just enjoy yelling," Stewart said in a statement on Monday.
O'Reilly's response was also tongue-in-cheek. "I had no idea my agent signed me up for this. How can I get out of it?"
Humorously titled "The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium," the event will be livestreamed in its entirety for a small fee of $4.95, half the proceeds of which will be donated to charities. According to O'Reilly, the show will be formatted much like a standard televised presidential debate, albeit "without all the phoniness and pomposity."
O'Reilly added that there would also be a Question & Answer session with audience members who are lucky enough to score tickets to the show. Those tuning in from their laptops can also submit a question online.
According to a report by the New York Post, the CNN anchor and former host of "Fox and Friends," E. D. Hill, will moderate the live debate.
