Nokia Lumia 920 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to get a Bite on iPhone 5 Sales?

With the introduction of the new iPhone 5 last week, it sure outshined other smartphones out there. HTC and Nokia are two mobile manufacturers considered as underdogs in the intense smartphone battle.

On Wednesday Apple officially revealed the iPhone 5, laying to rest the endless release date rumors, price estimates and speculations on what features the device would include. The device was released alongside a brand new line of iPod Nano and iPod Touch products at the Yerva Center in San Francisco, where Apple's Tim Cook and Phil Schiller took the stage.

With the reports that Apple sold two million units already of its new smartphone, it is still far to conclude that Apple will reclaim the top spot of the smartphone battle that was once stolen by Samsung with the release of Samsung Galaxy S3.

However, the new Nokia and Samsung smartphones have the possibility to hinder iPhone 5 sales because of its great specs and features that further intensifies the competition of smartphones in the tech market.

Nokia Lumia 920

A lot of consumers are curious about the capabilities of the new Windows Phone 8, which is considered as an underdog in the smartphone battle.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is the star of the Nokia Lumia launch with Some of the new tech specs include PureMotion HD+ 4.5 inch display (1280 x 768 resolution), Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery, and Qi wireless charging. Nokia is touting the Lumia 920′s premier feature as its new camera lens.

According to Nokia the Lumia 920 features a floating camera lens that is designed to provide better image stabilization for both photos and video, it can record full HD video in 1080p.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung also revealed its amazing Android phone - the Galaxy Note 2, which is the successor of the popular phablet, Galaxy Note. Samsung proudly presented its latest smartphone in the recently concluded IFA event in Berlin.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 boasts a massive 5.5 inch screen display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is supported by Android's latest mobile software - Jelly Bean.

The two smartphones gain an advantage over the new iPhone 5 because they support Near Field Communication that the new Apple smartphone did not include in its features.  Moreover, a recent survey proved the popularity of the two with a lot of respondents saying that they will buy the new smartphones after being disappointed with the new features of iPhone 5.

Both devices are set to be available later this year just in time for the holidays.
