MTV EMA 2012: Taylor Swift and Rihanna on the Lead, Other Nominees Announced [LIST & PHOTOS]
The MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 is fast approaching and two names from different genres are already taking the lead.
Country singer Taylor Swift and Pop/RnB singer Rihanna are currently taking the lead for the 2012 MTV EMA. The "Talk That Talk" singer currently has 6 nominations while Taylor is not too far behind with 5 nominations.
The two ladies are also competing against each other in three categories which are Best Female, Best Pop and Best Look. Rihanna and Taylor just recently performed on the MTV VMAS stage and their fans are probably excited to find out who between the two ladies will dominate the European scene.
Rihanna is also up against her close friend Katy Perry for the Best Video. Other artists on the running for the award are Lady Gaga and Korean pop sensation PSY. However, they may find a stiff competition against Rihanna who took home the Video of the Year award on the recent MTV VMA's.
The awards show will air in the US on November 11 and fans can begin supporting their idols by voting in all EMA categories on MTVEMA.com.
