"Harry Potter" star Emma Watson would be more than happy to play Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of "50 Shades of Grey" -- if Ryan Gosling is cast as her love interest, Christian Grey.

STV.TV reports that Watson is "flattered" about fans supporting her for the role of Anastasia Steele, and she would "certainly want" to be considered for the role. "I haven't fully read the book just yet, so I don't know what I'd be signing myself up for. So I would have to get sent a script I guess. But it always flattering that people are thinking about you for certain casting roles. You are in the mix for things like '50 Shades' so it's great," Watson told STV.TV.

Emma Watson has earlier dismissed rumours that she has been asked to play Anastasia Steele.

However, according to her friend, fellow actress Nina Dobrev, she would be "far more interested if Ryan Gosling were to be cast as Christian Grey."

"@EmWatson told me that she'd be more interested in playing Ana in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie if Ryan Gosling were to be Christian. #mugglelove," television producer, Ryan Seacrest, tweeted.

It is unclear though, if the handsome actor will be playing the role of Christian Grey. In an interview with Extra, when asked if he landed the role, Gosling said, "I don't ... what is this book that everyone is talking about. It seems very popular."
