Preview: Barcelona will look to maintain their perfect start to the season when they head to Getafe on Saturday. The Catalan giants are the only side in La Liga to boast a 100 percent record after three games, and, crucially, they have already built up a five-point advantage over bitter rivals Real Madrid as they seek to reclaim the league title.

Barcelona will be missing coach Tito Vilanova's influence from the touchline against Getafe.

Barcelona now face a trip to the venue of one of two away defeats last season that played a big part in their relinquishing of the title. Getafe are sure to play with a similarly rugged and packed defense once more this weekend and try to snatch a goal on the break. Getafe have already shown that the Coliseum Alfonso Perez remains a tough place to go with a 2-1 victory over Real in their previous home match this season.
With the match coming on the back of an international break, where Barcelona's heavy contingent of Spanish internationals have faced a trip to far-flung Georgia, Tito Vilanova's side will be fully aware of the challenge that awaits them. The trio of Andres Iniesta, Jordi Alba and Alexis Sanchez has returned from international duty with injuries and will miss out. Barca will also be without the immediate influence of Vilanova, who will be serving the final match of his two-game touchline suspension.

Vilanova should at least have Carlos Puyol to choose from after injury, while David Villa could make his first start since retuning form a broken leg suffered last December.

Prediction: Barcelona will be desperate to get a victory to try and maintain their five-point edge over Real Madrid ahead of next month's first league El Clasico of the season. However, Getafe will provide fierce resistance for a Barcelona side hit with injuries and likely to be jaded after the international break. Vilanova's side may well come away from the Coliseum having dropped their first points of the campaign.
