The top after-market NYSE gainers Tuesday were AU Optronics, Genco Shipping & Trading, Beazer Homes USA, Air Lease Corp and EnergySolutions Inc. The top after-market NYSE losers were Teekay Offshore Partners, Vanguard Natural Resources, Pilgrim's Pride Corp, Swift Transportation and General Growth Properties.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI: DJI) gained another 53.51 points, or 0.40 percent, on Friday to close at 13,593.37, the highest level in nearly five years. Recent aggressive efforts in the U.S. and euro zone have cheered investors, but many uncertainties remain. Here are four factors that could make -- or break -- the Dow's continued ascent.

Gainers

AU Optronics Corp. (AUO) shares climbed 5.52 percent to $3.82 in post-market trading. The company will ship approximately 400,000 to 500,000 panels for Apple's reported 7.85-inch iPad in September, DigiTimes reported citing industry supply chain sources.

Genco Shipping & Trading Ltd. (GNK) shares surged 3.05 percent to $3.53 in post-market trading. The company stock plunged nearly 3 percent in regular trading.

Beazer Homes USA Inc. (BZH) shares advanced 2.17 percent to $3.30 in post-market trading.

Air Lease Corp. (AL) shares rose 2.16 percent to $22.72 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $17.24, a 52-week high of $26.47 and $2.25 billion in market capitalization.

EnergySolutions Inc. (ES) shares gained 2.15 percent to $2.69 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $1.43, a 52-week high of $5.43 and $237.31 million in market capitalization.

Losers

Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (TOO) shares plunged 4.62 percent to $27.43 in post-market trading. The company announced Tuesday that it planned to offer 7,000,000 common units, representing limited partner interests, in a public offering.

Vanguard Natural Resources LLC (VNR) shares plunged 4.36 percent to $27.41 in post-market trading. Vanguard Natural announced Tuesday that it had commenced a public offering of 6,000,000 common units representing limited liability company interests in the company, pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Jan. 18, 2012.

Pilgrim's Pride Corp. (PPC) shares declined 3.33 percent to $5.13 in post-market trading. The company stock gained more than 3 percent in regular trading.

Swift Transportation Co. (SWFT) shares fell 3.18 percent to $8.53 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $5.39, a 52-week high of $12.81 and $1.23 billion in market capitalization.

General Growth Properties Inc. (GGP) shares declined 2.94 percent to $19.50 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $10.68, a 52-week high of $21.25 and $18.85 billion in market capitalization.
