Once upon a Time Season 2 will reveal Snow White's complicated love story, the show runners said in an interview. The tales as old as time do not link Snow White to any other man, but it looks like the modern day audience would know a little bit more about her story.

In Season 2 photos released by Spoiler TV, an important character and great influence to the Evil Queen has been confirmed to make a comeback. There will also be a new arrival, and he will expose the complications to the lovestory and romance history of Snow White.

Spoiler Alert: Snow White's 'It's Complicated' Status

Speaking to TVLine, Edward Kitsis revealed that Snow has an "unexpected" past with next season's additional character, Lancelot.

"The two of them have a secret that I'm not sure Charming knows," he teased.

Lancelot's story will perhaps pick up from his getting banished from King Arthur's round table. Playing Lancelot is Sinqua Walls.

Spoiler Alert: Season 2 Episode 1 is Snow-centric, Episode Title Revealed

The first episode of the second season will be Snow-centric, according to a Wetpaint report. This means Mary Margaret/Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David/Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) will be front and center in the premiere episode, called "Broken."

But who, really, is broken? Does the title refer to the broken curse? Or does it allude to the characters' lives, as their Storybrooke lives have been broken by magic at last season's finale?

Reports also suggest that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will not be able to adjust to a new life easily.

"Don't expect Emma to embrace her new mom and dad with open arms," Morrison told Entertainment Weekly. She added Emma "didn't anticipate how much resentment she'd have for [her parents] giving her up."

Emma is probably going to build walls around her and these walls would need to be broken by none other than her parents. But how?

Once upon a Time is one of the most highly-anticipated series to return this fall.
