Janko Tipsarević is one victory away from advancing to the semifinals of the U.S. Open. He made it to the quarterfinals by defeating Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany in straight sets on Wednesday.
Tipsarević will have to get past David Ferrer to get one step closer to the finals. If he beats Ferrer, it will be his best finish ever at Grand Slam tournament.
The Serb has never won a Grand Slam title, and may be best-known because of his wife Bilijana Sesevic, a Serbian television host.
Tipsarević's wife has captured the attention of the television cameras, as she has been in attendance to watch her husband play. Andy Roddick often receives attention for being married to model Brooklyn Decker. Now, Tipsarević may receive even more attention with Roddick's retirement.
The two started dating in 2007 and got married on July 4, 2010.
