Kristen Stewart has been experiencing a lot of relationship drama this summer. News broke Friday that her parents are divorcing, Perez Hilton blogged.

Kristen Stewart and her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart, have something new to bond over since her mother decided to file for divorce from her father, John Stewart, on Aug. 17, according to the celebrity gossip site.

Her mother's choice to file for divorce occurred about a month after Stewart and Rupert Sanders' affair became public.

Her parents had been together for 27 years, Perez Hilton noted, but the two will be going their own separate ways after citing irreconcilable differences.

Their relationship has allegedly been on the rocks for years. They separated on June 15, 2010, according to divorce documents cited by Perez Hilton. So the fact the couple has decided to officially call it quits probably did not come as a shock to Stewart.

Maybe this will be a good bonding time for mother and daughter.

It's been rumored Stewart has been struggling now that she and ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson are no longer together.

Pattinson has put the $6.3 million mansion that they lived in on the market, since it "holds too many memories." Meanwhile, Stewart has been spotted romping around town in Pattinson's old clothes.

Last month, Stewart told People magazine how sorry she was when she got caught having an affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Sanders: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Pattinson recently emerged back into the public eye to promote his movie "Cosmopolis."
