Samsung recently announced the successor to Galaxy Note that features a bigger screen at 5.5in and runs on Android's latest software version 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The company provided technical specifications and details on worldwide availability. But what is still a secret about the device is its pricing.  

Some information is now available on the pricing of the second generation phablet only for European customers. 

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

According to an Engadget report, a placard spotted at the IFA event suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be priced at €639.90 when it arrives in Vodafone Germany. Three UK has announced it will be stocking the Galaxy Note 2, reports Android Central. There is no information on what other carriers plan to do.

Three has not provided any information on the pricing or when the device will be available except for saying in a post on its site: "The recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is coming to Three." The German pricing of the Galaxy Note 2 when converted into pound comes to about £507. 

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung said the Note 2 will be available in two colour variants, Marble White and Titanium Gray, and will be released in the European, Asian and Middle East markets in October.

The Galaxy Note 2 comes with a HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280pixels. It will be powered by 1.6GHz quad-core processor and house 2GB of RAM. The device will feature an eight megapixel rear-camera and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. The Note 2 will offer three storage options at 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and will support microSD card slot. It will run with a Li-ion battery of 3,100mAh and support 3G and 4G connectivity. Like the original Note, the Note 2 will also feature S Pen.
