Robert Pattinson has found himself ready to at least speak to former girlfriend Kristen Stewart after her widely publicized dalliance with a married film director. News reports say Rob may even speak face-to-face with her again. Will the talks be about closure, or about trusting again?

Stewart cheated on Pattinson with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. Both of them immediately issued public apologies as soon as Us Weekly revealed the cheating with a cover photo. Stewart apologized to the man she claimed she "loved." Sanders apologized to his wife, Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children.

The public quickly sympathized with Pattinson and Ross, who both kept mum and stayed away from the media after the scandal broke.

Pattinson, however, has appeared on a talk show with Jimmy Kimmel. He even joked about being "homeless," but said nothing damaging to his ex.

Sources say Pattinson has observed a level of public hatred towards Stewart for what she has done. This made him feel sorry for the actress. It was around the time of his first public appearance when he came to realize he was ready to talk to Stewart, who is also devastated by her own actions.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Rihanna has been sending "sexy" and "funny" texts to Pattinson.

A source said Rihanna is not the type who would steal someone's man, but since Pattinson is now officially single again, she has gone out of way to be noticed by the "Twilight" actor.

Could Rihanna get through to Rob? Kristen, for her part, is not giving up. She is reportedly begging Rob to take her back, while the actor could not deny that he still has romantic feelings for her even if she betrayed his trust. Could he trust her again?
