"Mission Impossible" actor Tom Cruise has already lost 6.5 kg on his weight after his divorce from actress Katie Holmes. According to court documents, their divorce was finalized last Monday after what was believed to be a long court battle between the two yet it only took less than two months. Well, it clearly appears that the split has not been that easy on Tom Cruise.

According to reports, the 50-year old actor has been losing weight since he was blindsided by Katie Holmes' surprising decision to leave him. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes agreed to have their divorce quickly finalized in order to make the transition as easy as possible for the sake of their 6-year old daughter Suri. The proud parents of Suri always agreed only on what is best for the little girl.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is reportedly throwing himself with his work on films and the strain is finally taking its toll on his body.

"Tom's friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern," a source told the United Kingdom magazine Grazia.

However, when reporters asked Tom Cruise how he has been doing since his wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce, the actor managed to make a short answer that he is doing good.

On other reports, Tom Cruise also becomes a lot more comfortable being photographed spending quality time with his daughter Suri. The Hollywood actor is always smiling whenever he is reunited with Suri after having spent months apart from her due to his very busy work schedule.

Is Tom Cruise really doing well? Given the fact the actor is still going through the mess of his third divorce, obviously he may not be okay especially when he is losing weight.

Cruise and Shields had a public feud after Cruise criticized Shields for taking antidepressants to combat postpartum depression. Shields penned an op-ed for the New York Times and took Cruise to task. Shields later told Jay Leno that Cruise apologized to her in person at her home, People reported. "It is true that his friendship with Ms. Shields has been mended,” a rep for Cruise said in a statement to the Associated Press, according to a People report. “He has not changed his position about antidepressants, which, as evidenced by the black label warnings issued by the FDA on these types of drugs, are unhealthy."
