Colleen Shannon, who was a Playboy Playmate in 2004, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly smuggling a man across the U.S. border.

Shannon, 34, was accused of smuggling an unidentified male, possibly her boyfriend, from Canada into the U.S., according to TMZ.

Shannon was arrested and booked in New York's Clinton County Jail for "bringing in and harboring aliens." If convicted, she faces up to 10 years in jail for violating the federal statute.

Shannon was arrested by Customs and Border Protection agents. She has since been released on bond, according to the New York Daily News.

Shannon rose to fame after posing for Playboy in the magazine's 50th anniversary issue. She now works as "the world's sexiest DJ," according to her website, at various clubs across the nation.
