It is no secret that Hollywood couple Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder both love animals. The stars of the hit TV series "The Vampire Diaries" have cats as their pets and Nina Dobrev even gave her boyfriend a nickname "Catman." The young actress also uploaded a photograph on her "Twitter" account and sent it as well to her beau.

"LOL of the day: Dedicated to catman Ian Somerhalder," Nina posted.  The picture was a black cat with wide open yellow eyes. "What has been seen cannot be unseen," the caption on the photograph read. Even though the handsome vampire actor did not respond publicly to his girlfriend's message on Twitter, it probably made him laugh.   

Meanwhile, fans may actually be ready to hear wedding bells for "The Vampire Diaries" stars in real life but Nina Dobrev lightheartedly explained in an interview with Fashion magazine why she will not be walking down the aisle in the next year or so.

The 23-year old Canadian actress revealed that she is still too focused on acting that she is just not ready to settle down. "Eventually I am going to marry and have a family but not anytime soon," Dobrev said.

"I'm a career woman and a young, very driven woman and I've got a lot I have to accomplish before I settle down and have kids and do any of that," the actress further shared. 

Despite the rumors claiming that the couple had split, Dobrev and Somerhalder appears to be doing just fine. The two are working together on the set and often see each other every day yet people are still assuming that their relationship is not going to work or it has already ended.

However, that does not seem to be the case at all. While the lovely couple may have become a little more comfortable showing some public display of affection, they still made it clear that they are not going to live their personal lives publicly.
