Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger appears to have finally made some additions rather than subtractions to his club.
The Gunners are close to completing a loan that will send Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin to the Emirates from Real Madrid for £2 million, according to the Daily Mail.

Turkish international Nuri Sahin joins an Arsenal club in need of help in the back row.
Some reports also suggest Sahin turned down a more lucrative offer from Liverpool for the move to Arsenal.
Arsenal have lost two key players in recent days, but also have the resources to spend on their replacements. Earlier this week, famed striker Robin van Persie transferred to Manchester United, and Cameroonian midfielder Alex Song joined former Gunner Cesc Fabregas at Barcelona. Once the Song deal closes,Wenger will have roughly £39 million at his disposal for reinforcements.
Sahin should help ease the blow of both stars departures, as he can apply his playmaking prowess to the Gunners' rather depleted midfield. Tomas Rosicky suffered an Achilles injury during Euro 2012 with the Czech Republic and 20-year-old Jack Wilshere still has knee and ankle issues.
The change of scenery could be a boon for Sahin. Thd 23-year-old was used sparingly for Real Madrid, appearing just 11 times in 2011-2012.
