Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo searches for his team's first win of the season in a match-up with Getafe Sunday.

As the new season kicks off, Valencia has several new faces while Real has brought back most of their championship squad.

Los Blancos are led by their three-headed monster of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain. The triumvirate accounted for 89 of Real's record 121 goals last season.

Higuain may be a little woozy Sunday, as he will play with a head injury suffered during Argentina's victory over Germany in an international friendly on Aug. 15.

Valencia snatched midfielder Fernando Gago from Madrid for just over £3 million euros during the summer. Gago was on loan to Serie A's Roma, but wanted a chance to play first-team and Valencia obliged.

Los Che also signed Mexican international winger Andres Guardado from Deportivo La Coruna, where he appeared in 137 matches and netted 23 goals in five seasons.

Both Gago and Guardado could make their Valencia debuts Sunday, but fans may have to wait to see star striker Roberto Soldado. The Spanish native may sit out due to a hamstring strain.

Valencia midfielder Ever Banega has been ruled with an ankle tweak and goalkeeper Vicente Guaita is out, suffering from a thigh injury.

Prediction: Ronaldo and crew wrapped up the La Liga title with a record 100 points, while Valencia finished third with 61. Even with Valencia's new additions, Los Blancos have no major injuries and the home field advantage.

Predicted Score: Real Madrid 3, Valencia 1
