Not wearing a bra can be quite liberating: you don't have to worry about those unsightly bra straps, it saves money, and it's comfortable. Sadly, not everyone is afforded that privilege. Ladies above a c-cup shouldn't even consider going braless.

Apparently, a few Hollywood starlets have yet to receive that memo. And it's not the wide-eyed ingénues who have just stepped into the Hollywood scene that have been letting it all hang loose, but well-to-do veterans with hefty paychecks -- who could afford a few diamond-encrusted pairs and then some.

We doubt this epidemic will go away anytime soon. Those starlets who still insist on going sans bra despite their DD's, will do well to avoid diaphanous garments, to use nipple tapes, work on their posture - and avoid bending over.

But the trend has certainly provided us with plenty of wardrobe malfunctions to fill-up two lifetimes. We've seen it all, from Miley Cyrus' side boobs, Rihanna's headlights, to Tara Reid's botched pair.

We are all for Lady Gaga's oddball style, but bold does not mean sashaying around countless Hollywood events without a bra. Mother monster is yet another star who could use a little extra boost. 

"The Hills" fashionista's cleavage seems to be going downhill in this snapshop. Lauren Conrad should opt for sewn-in supportive cups the next time she dons a low-plunging neckline. 

Frankly, we don't remember the last time we've seen Lindsay Lohan with a bra. Li-Lo is always in need of some serious double-sided tape.
