USD/JPY Open 79.33 High 79.49 Low 78.95 Close 79.32
On Thursday Dollar/Yen increased with almost 50 pips. The currency couple appreciated from 78.95 to 79.42 yesterday, matching the positive money flow sentiment at over 26%, closing the day at 79.32. This morning the Dollar lifted slightly further against the Yen, reaching 79.49.
On the 1 hour chart new upward channel has emerged, while on the 3 hour chart quotes are still moving within wide range. Break above yesterday's top and nearest resistance 79.42 would encourage further recovery of the Dollar. Immediate support is yesterday's bottom at 78.95, and consistent break bellow it could strengthen the Yen further down towards next target 78.10.
There are no major economic events for Japan today.
Quotes are moving above the 20 and 50 EMA on the 1 hour chart, indicating bullish pressure. The value of the RSI indicator is positive and calm, MACD is positive and inclining upwards, while CCI has crossed up the 100 line on the 1 hour chart, giving over all light long signals.
