Suspended play on day three at the PGA Championship has forced a grueling 27-hole endurance test for some 26 players Sunday at Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C.

Rory McIlroy raced up the leaderboard before officials called the delay due to thunderstorms. The 26-year-old sat at 6-under par after nine holes on Day 3, locked up with veteran Vijay Singh, who ended his day after just eight holes.

Tigers Woods went into yet another weekend leading a major, only to see his lead wither away. Woods dug himself into a five stroke deficit after seven holes before play was halted.

"I got off to a rough start today and couldn't get anything going," Woods told the New York Daily News. "I'll come back tomorrow morning and see what happens. There are a lot of holes left to play."

Play has already resumed, and you can watch a free live stream online of the tournament by clicking here.
