Kate Middleton at the London Olympics 2012 So Far
Kate Middleton has been a regular face at the Olympics 2012, cheering on Britain's athletes with husband Prince William - and witnessing almost all of Team GB's biggest success stories.
The Duchess of Cambridge was in the crowd when the men's cycling team, led by Sir Chris Hoy, broke the world record to take gold in the sprint. She also watched Zara Phillips take silver in the equestrian event, and saw Andy Murray's victory in the semi-finals of the men's tennis.
Given that Middleton has also watched swimmer Rebecca Adlington and the men's gymnastic team claim medals, it's little wonder the GB athletes consider her a lucky charm.
However, it appears the royal couple are keen not to distract the crowd from the feats being achieved in front of them. In fact William told People magazine that they were particularly wary of the 'kiss cam' which roamed the Olympic stadium during the cycling final.
"I was absolutely dreading [the prospect that photographers] were going to come and show myself and my wife, that would have been very embarrassing," he said.
