"I had a great time at #RoseanneRoast. Had to sign off the Comedy Central handle before I say anything to bad. After party = no censor," Fishman wrote.

Barr's ex-husband Tom Arnold, who also was a writer for the show and occasionally made an appearance as "Arnie Thomas," even reportedly made a surprise appearance. The news was revealed via Twitter, of course, when Arnold responded to one fan's tweet.

"Dreams come true:) '@devonesawa: I'd give anything to see Tom Arnold be a part of the Roseanne roast,'" he wrote.

It has been 15 years since the curtain closed on "Roseanne." For nearly a decade, the show ruled the airwaves and evenings for many Americans.

Comedy Central's roasts have become a staple of the channel's line-up of specials. Past victims tend to lean towards Barr's history of comedian-turned-sitcom star, and include Dennis Leary, Bob Sagat, and Charlie Sheen.

The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr will air on Sunday, Aug. 12, at 10 p.m.
