September RBOB prices traded slightly higher during the initial morning hours and within the upper end of yesterday's range. The gasoline market received a boost yesterday on reports of further delays in the restart of Enbridge pipeline 14 into Wisconsin, which is a key supply source of light-sweet crude from Canada. Demands from US officials for the company to implement a safety plan for all their US pipelines has become a source of support to the gasoline market. Meanwhile, Midwest cash differentials recorded a record high yesterday and the Gulf Coast region has also begun to price in the prospect of tighter supplies.
