Kristen Stewart Not the First Actor To Cheat: Top 5 Celebrity Cheating Scandals [PHOTOS]
The cheating scandal between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders has rocked Hollywood since it was first reported at the end of July.
Last month, paparazzi photographs released in UsWeekly showed exclusive pictures of 22-year-old actress Kristen Stewart kissing her "Snow White and the Huntsmen" director, Rupert Sanders, 41, whose wife, Liberty Ross played Stewart's mother in the film. Ross and Sanders have two children together.
Stewart and Pattinson rarely commented on their relationship status publicly, though they have been together for three years. Back in 2010, Stewart told Elle Magazine: "I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them."
But after news of her indiscretion was made public, she issued a public apology. In a statement to People, she said, in part, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected."
Sanders also wrote a statement to People, saying, in part, "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world."
While it remains to be seen how their relationships will be affected, Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders are not the only actors to be mixed up in a public affair. Take a look at these other celebrity cheating scandals.

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant was 22-years-old when he met Vanessa at a music video shoot. She was a background dancer. The couple married in 2001, and Kobe's parents, who were not in support of the union, refused to attend the wedding. In 2003, there was a media frenzy as a he was accused of rape by a young Colorado woman. The case was settled out of court, but there were also allegations that he cheated on Vanessa numerous times throughout their marriage. Earlier this year, she filed for divorce, but they are now trying to reconcile. The couple has two daughters together.
Tony Parker and Eva Longoria
Actress Eva Longoria filed for divorce from NBA star Tony Parker after they had been together for 7 years and married for 3 years. Longoria found hundreds of text messages from another woman on Parker's phone, according to "Extra". The mistress was allegedly Erin Barry, the wife of one of the NBA player's former teammates. "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness," Longoria wrote on her Twitter account after the cheating scandal was made public.
Jude Law and Sienna Miller
In 2006, actor Jude Law had an affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright, while he was engaged to stunning actress Sienna Miller. Wright publicly spoke about the affair, and afterwards Law apologized to Miller, saying in a statement, "I am deeply ashamed." The couple rekindled their relationship in 2010, but broke up shortly afterwards. Miller is now engaged to Tom Sturridge and just gave birth to their first child, a baby girl.
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren
"I had affairs, I cheated. What I did was not acceptable, and I am the only person to blame” professional golfer Tiger Woods said in a public apology back in 2010, after cheating on his wife, Elin Nordegren, a Swedish model. The couple got married in 2004 and have two children together. He cheated on her with numerous women. The first woman who came forward about his cheating was Rachel Uchitel, who, according to TMZ, was given $10 million by Woods to remain silent. Nordegren filed for divorce amid the allegations, and it was finalized in 2010.
