David Beckham Talks About His Friendship With Prince William [PHOTOS]
David Beckham may not be content being well-known in the world of sports and having a couple of famous Hollywood friends in his circle.
Recently, he has revealed about having a close friendship with Prince William and Prince Harry. Do you think Beckham is gloating about it or just humbly expressing the privilege and honor of being friends with the members of The Royal Family?
Beckham spoke about having a normal relationship with The Royals and he claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry are both laid back despite the fact that they are next in line to the throne.
"It's a very normal relationship, with Harry as well," Beckham told Esquire magazine. They're very easy to get along with. They love their sport. William loves Aston Villa, unfortunately, which obviously I give him a bit of stick about," he further shared.
The famous football player first became close to the young Princes when they campaigned the World Cup to be held in London. Since then, Beckham has been frequently seen mingling with The Royals at several charity events and he even attended the lavish wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton last year together with his singer-turned-fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham.
Meanwhile, after carrying the Olympic torch up the Thames during director Danny Boyle's epic opening ceremony, David Beckham was spotted earlier this week watching a football game in the Olympics together with his eldest son Brooklyn and Prince William.
While the action of the game had Beckham and Prince William cheering and applauding, it cannot be hard to notice that these gentlemen looked really elegant. Both Prince William and David Beckham looked smart in their blue sport coats and button-down shirts while 13-year old Brooklyn looked every bit the stylish teenager in his multi-colored check print button-down.
The football royalty happily mingled with real-world Royalty as they showed off their patriotic sides by cheering for the Team GB at the Olympic football match against the UAE.
Despite not representing Team GB's football team at the London Olympic Games 2012, David Beckham appears to have no hard feelings at all as he joined his son and Prince William and tens of thousands devoted football fans at the Wembley Stadium supporting Great Britain against United Arab Emirates.
