The two leading ladies for the much-awaited movie of the year, "The Dark Knight Rises," battled it out at the premier red carpet. Both wore white, both looked stunning and both looked ready for the box office success.

The wait is over. "The Dark Knight Rises" cast and crew are all present tonight in New York for the movie premier of the much anticipated finale of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

And while everyone is looking forward to watch Nolan's masterpiece, the two leading ladies, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard, both looked stunning in white.

Anne took the plunge in a low-cut Grecian inspired gown which boasted gem detailing on the bust line, a cowell back and a dramatic flowing train. Marion wore a more youthful off-white gown with a ruffled net skirt. She paired it with sparkling silver heels and her hair pulled back.

It's fitting that the two ladies sported different styles at "The Dark Knight Rises" premier since their characters play up between the good and the evil. Anne takes the role of "Catwoman" while Marion plays as a board member who helps Bruce Wayne in his ventures.
