‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Movie Stills: Film Will Live Up to Fans’ Expectations – Critics [PHOTOS]
Critics and reviewers get to watch the first screening of the last Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises" and testified that the finale will live up to the expectations of many fans.
The final film of Christopher Nolan's garnered a lot of positive reviews from critics and gave the film an "A" rating. This means that the film will suffice the whims of the loyal Batman fans.
Aside from Batman (Christian Bale), Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), another character that people should watch out for is John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Blake is a Gotham City cop who was promoted and was the only man standing up against the revolutionary chaos instituted by Bane during Batman's exile.
Surprisingly, many reviewers commended Joseph Gordon-Levitt with his performance as supporting cast in the film. However, those who have watched another Christopher Nolan masterpiece "Inception" may not be surprises by JGL's superior acting even though he is playing a minor character.
Another character that will surprise the moviegoers is the beautiful and sassy Anne Hathaway. Anne said that did some of her stunts in "The Dark Knight Rises." There are only two stunts in the film that she did not do. This includes jumping on a window.
She shared that when she was casted in the film, director and writer Christopher Nolan sat her down and told her that when he was filming inception, Joseph Gordon-Levitt get in shape and did most of his fighting. Anne said that get the implied message and hit the gym to get in shape for the film.
There are a lot of things to expect in the 2 hours and 45 minutes long epic finale of the Batman series. Christopher Nolan and the rest of the cast are mum about the details of the movie. The film is expected to $160 million on its opening weekend.
Last week, sharp-tongued and fearless David Letterman revealed that Batman will die at the end of the movie. David Letterman welcomed lovely and talented actress Anne Hathaway in his late night show. Anne Hathaway stars as Catwoman in the upcoming final film "The Dark Knight Rises."
Right before the end of his lively chat with the actress, David spilled the beans that Batman will die at the end of the film. "Of course, Batman is dead in the end," the host said that shocked Anne Hathaway.
Anne, on the other hand, seemed to confirm what David said when she gave him a sharp look and bellowed "Daaaaaavvvveeee." The Oscar-nominated actress played the situation quite well telling Letterman that he had no idea the wrath he had just incurred, and issuing an apology to director Christopher Nolan.
There, "The Dark Knight Rises" is brilliant, sinister and an epic finale for Batman. Two nights to go before "The Dark Knight Rises" is finally out in Australian theaters on July 19.
