Samsung Electronics Co., one of the largest smartphone companies in the world, is rumored to reveal Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in the market. Though details are still scarce about Samsung Galaxy Note 2, many people are already questioning if whether or not they should upgrade their Samsung Galaxy Note with the newest Galaxy Note model.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is great source of debate for many people as they cannot fully classify if this device would be considered as a tablet or a smartphone. As for its OS, the Samsung Galaxy Note recently received its Android 4.0 or Android ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) update.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is already available in Australia through mobile carriers, Optus (AU$0 - AU$79, 2-year lock-down period), Vodafone AU$5 - AU$59, 2-year lock-down period), and Telstra (AU$0 - AU$99, 2-year lock-down period).
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Samsung has not yet officially released the exact features but some of the specifications and features for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has already been leaked in the Internet. Some of these features and specifications include a 5.5-inch touchcreeen Super AMOLED display with 1,680 x 1,050 pixel resolution and 360 ppi density, dual-core Exynos 5250 processor and a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 12MP camera, hardened case, and longer battery life. In terms of OS, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would reportedly utilize the latest Android OS version which is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The possible release date for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would be on August, 2012 during the IFA Consumer Electronics Trade show in Berlin, Germany. Selling price for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is still unknown.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is a solid and highly powerful smartphone on its own as it can be both function as a smartphone and tablet. Most of the features in Samsung Galaxy Note were further improved on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 especially in terms of processor and camera features. The new OS in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also a very tempting feature as there is no news yet if Samsung Galaxy Note would also be upgraded to Anroid 4.1 Jelly Bean. In the end, it all comes down with the selling price of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. If you already have a Samsung Galaxy Note that is working perfectly, it would be best to utilize it fully before considering to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
