The Academy Awards are definitely something celebrities in Hollywood look forward to. However, there is one award show that focuses not only on immense talent on screen but immeasurable good will done off screen. It's the 2012 Do Something Awards and the polls are finally open.

Do Something.org has been honoring the nation's vest and youngest world changers under the age of 25 since the year 1996. Now, VH1 will be teaming up with Do Something.org for the highly-anticipated event that is sure to be the biggest and best awards show to date.

Who exactly are the nominees for the 2012 Do Something Awards? The famous "Jelena" duo is up for a nomination.

"The Amazing Spiderman" couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield is also in the list of nominees. Surprisingly, even Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made it to the cut. "Magic Mike's" Channing Tatum, Taylor Swift, Neil Patrick Harris, Kristen Bell, Ian Somerhalder and Ben Affleck are also a few celebrities who made the cut.

The 2012 Do Something Awards will be set in Barker Hanger at Santa Monica which will be taped Sunday, August 19 and premiered on VH1 on Tuesday, August 21. The Awards show will be hosted by the adorable and hilarious male trio from "New Girl" namely Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris and Max Greenfield.
