Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang on the popular Fox show "Glee," has inked a book deal for her memoir.

"Choosing Glee" will be published by St. Martin's Press and is scheduled for release in the spring of 2013, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The book will go into her career, including her time on Broadway and her rise to fame on the hit show.

"My goal is for you to walk away from this book looking at the world differently than when you started," she told THR. "It's about how to have, do and be anything you want."

At 26, Ushkowitz may seem quite young to be writing a book about her life experiences, but she wouldn't be the first young person in Hollywood to do so.

The recently retired gold medal-winning Olympic gymnast -- who also won the eighth season of “Dancing With the Stars” -- came out with “Winning Balance: What I've Learned So Far About Love, Faith, and Living Your Dreams” this year. The book goes into her life and the injury that helped end her gymnastics career. The 20-year-old also published “Shawn Johnson: Olympic Champion: Stories Behind the Smile” in 2008, which contained photographs of her throughout the years.

Television personality Kelly Osbourne, 27, released “Fierce” in September of 2009. She had completed yet another stint at rehab earlier that year. Osbourne went into her troubles in the book, which also contained advice for young women.

Long before pop singing sensation Britney Spears, 30, went off of the deep end, she and her mother, Lynne Spears, released “Britney Spears’ Heart to Heart” together in 2000. They went into Spears’ rise to fame and included some sentimental mother-daughter stuff. Seems sweet, but we all know how it turned out.
