The Verdict

Based on the specifications, the Google Nexus 7 tablet has considerable advantage over Barnes & Noble Nook tablet. The Nexus 7 tablet has a faster processor and has the latest version of Android installed upon its release. Upon comparing the Nexus 7 tablet and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, it can actually be considered as equal due to technical specifications and performance. The only deciding factor here is the price as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is more expensive than the Galaxy Nexus 7 tablet.  Overall, the Nexus 7 Tablet is a worthy investment for 7-inch tablets. Australian customers should be prepared though because it selling price (AU$249/AU$299) is much higher compared to the selling price of Nexus 7 in the U.S. (US$199).
